This Is The Day The Lord Has Made~So Rejoice!

This is the day the Lord has made I will regoice and be glad in it. It's a choice...everyday and throughout that day to make right choices and remember where the lines are drawn. I'm not always a success with my choices..but a made up mind to NEVER give up and keep trying get me back on track. I am big on using key phrases to keeep focus, one of my favs is...I can do this for ____ time, nothing lasts forever. Especially if its a job I don't want to do. But to remind myself to rejoice today is easy because I start going down my Blessing list, even if its raining and money is tight, with Jesus on my side...HOW CAN I LOSE?
What is challenging is when I try and encourage people who don't want to be encouraged and OMW shoot down every good word, I DO NOT choose to live that way!! Why would anyone?? Don't get me wrong somedays are very heavy, but as a child in Sunday School I learned to count my Blessing, name them one by one. I believe it works, try it! With every negative thought or comment counter with a positve comeback both to yourself or others. It takes practice but IT will happen and its easier to handle your day. When my kiddos get to be too much....I'm Blessed to be a mom! When money is tight...I'm Blessed to live in a country that has many opportunities, and on it goes but the biggest motivator is...I KNOW A GOD WHO LOVES ME AND WILL ALWAYS BE THERE...check out Jeremiah 29:11...what an encouraging word!
“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
