Gettin out of my box...

It's been a while since I added...My husband is having the time of his life, this is his heartbeat...working on churhes and filling a need, also he is spending time with one of his closest friends, Bro Malone, and we get a chance to see the state of Washington. What a great experience this has been for us. We have been able to be in church with Bro. and Sis. Mayo as well. I loved hearing him talk about personal evangelism 101, last week. We have to connect with others and let the holy ghost do the talking, it will lead us to the hurting. Who have you touched lately? We are here to make a difference...witness and show the love of God! Last night he spoke on...if all you want is to know Jesus, then you will know suffering and pain, to truly know Him we have to die out and let go of our wants and desires and allow His plans to happen, not my will but thine. He loves us more than we love Him. Make a new consecration today.
We have also been priveledged to help in Wenatchee, that is where Bro. Tim and Sis. Kirsten King pastor. My husband has installed some finish and trim work around the windows and doors and made custom columns for the platform, including crown moldings the Kings have painted everything so beautifully, it looks fantastic! They are so excited and the Lord is moving, while we were there last week-end they had a covering service for the children and what a powerful move of God. Bro. King titled his message, Parents are you big enough?(of course we're not) The Lord sent His love down in a very sweet way, most of the children and parents had tears just running down their faces and they were praying for their families, praying with them was very special. Bro. King told us later that several people prayed thru and received a fresh holy ghost renewing. That is so awesome! I feel very blessed to have been a part of it all. Being around such wonderful people who love the Lord and love doing His work is such a blessing.

Getting out of my 'box' is a good thing. My prayer is...I will keep moving forward and enjoying the new season in my life. Thanks babe, for helping me 'out'. I love you always.

This Is The Day The Lord Has Made~So Rejoice!

This is the day the Lord has made I will regoice and be glad in it. It's a choice...everyday and throughout that day to make right choices and remember where the lines are drawn. I'm not always a success with my choices..but a made up mind to NEVER give up and keep trying get me back on track. I am big on using key phrases to keeep focus, one of my favs is...I can do this for ____ time, nothing lasts forever. Especially if its a job I don't want to do. But to remind myself to rejoice today is easy because I start going down my Blessing list, even if its raining and money is tight, with Jesus on my side...HOW CAN I LOSE?
What is challenging is when I try and encourage people who don't want to be encouraged and OMW shoot down every good word, I DO NOT choose to live that way!! Why would anyone?? Don't get me wrong somedays are very heavy, but as a child in Sunday School I learned to count my Blessing, name them one by one. I believe it works, try it! With every negative thought or comment counter with a positve comeback both to yourself or others. It takes practice but IT will happen and its easier to handle your day. When my kiddos get to be too much....I'm Blessed to be a mom! When money is tight...I'm Blessed to live in a country that has many opportunities, and on it goes but the biggest motivator is...I KNOW A GOD WHO LOVES ME AND WILL ALWAYS BE THERE...check out Jeremiah 29:11...what an encouraging word!
“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

See What My God Has Done~He Is Awesome & Faithful!

As most of you know 2 of our sons have been backsliden for about 4 years. We have prayed for and preached to them with lots of complaining, which is normal. We are more than ever aware that we are running out of time.
Well on Sunday night January 11th 2009......they both gave their hearts back to the Lord! It was so wonderful to see them both hands raised and crying out to God, I was so in awe of it all. But God is not done yet.....there is so many lost loved ones still out there that it's just the beginning!! This was such an encourgement for many parents that if the Lord will do it for this family then He'll do it for mine. I BELIEVE IT WITH THEM!! We can never give up or let up, no matter what the situation looks like. Several parents at The Rock Church have picked a fast day once a week to specifically bring their kiddos to the throne of God, it works! We are still in unity with you....NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES!! God is so amazing why wouldn't we serve Him and give Him our best.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed with or preached to my babies~lol~(they are grown up now) :o) I could not finish this without saying thank you Jesus for such excellent leadership and godly examples, we are priviledged to receive at TRC.

This picture is of our youngest son praying with his friend, Aubry (his father is the one who started the fasting thing). This was taken on Sunday morning Jan. 11th 2009. Our son also was renewed, he was trying to make some "life" decisions on his own and when you are 18 its difficult. I'm so glad he let Jesus "help"~ :o)

I Believe The Bible

I Believe The Bible

I Believe the Bible,
I believe every word is true.
I Believe the Bible,
For it is God's Word and is always new
In every heart that accepts Him in faith and lets Jesus come in.
I believe the Bible brings us up and into His Heavenly Way when we keep His Word in our heart every day.
I believe the Bible, God's Word is Truth.
I believe the Holy Spirit gives the proof.
By His Power alone, we feel God's love coming into our hearts from above.
There is a difference in each and every life
When the Beauty of God's love comes in and we are washed clean from all our sin.
I believe the Bible, I believe every word
For it is from God's own mouth and is the true sword
That cuts deep within each and every heart, cleansing us from the world of sin.

A Year Of Harvest~2009

WELCOME 2009! This is the year the Lord has made let's rejoice and be extremely glad. We made it and we're still standing! I want my motto for the new year to be...Whatever your doing God, don't do it without ME!
This is THE year of harvest, are you ready? Can you see your unsaved loved ones and others you have been carrying a burden for 'finally' giving up and submitting their lives to the Lord? I can!!! It's time!

I am so thankful for my family, we are blessed to live close enough to have family prayer together, this is how we get and keep the strength it takes to live in these last days. I want to commend them all, we have come so far in the past year and it's thru many prayers from each of us and a determination to do whatever it takes to get that closeness back among us. Life happens and the enemy DOES NOT want unity anywhere so if he finds a crack he will chisel away at it to destroy but....IN THE NAME OF JESUS, I claim unity in my family this year as never before! When two or three agree....that is powerful and nobody prays for the family like the family, whether it's the mommas, the daddys, or the grandmas...especiallly the grandmas!! If the grandma prays look out somethings gonna happen~lol!

Happy New Year to all and let's ride 2009 with a firm grip and not get thrown, but if we do...GET BACK ON!
